Ingredients:
Almond flour (Kirkland brand): 1 cup
Whole Milk: 3/4 cup
Sugar: 1/2 cup sugar (I used 2 tbsp less than 1/2 cup and used sugar on the raw from costco. Perfectly enough for my liking)
Cardamom powder: 1 tsp
Ghee: 3 tbsp + 1 tbsp (I used home made ghee from Kerry gold unsalted butter)
Saffron milk: soak few strands in warm milk for 10 min
Method:
1. Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a pan and add almond flour. Saute on a small flame for a couple of minutes.
2. Add milk and mix well.
3. Now add sugar and keep mixing until ghee starts to come out and halwa reaches desired consistency.
4. Add remaining 1 tbsp ghee, more sugar if needed, saffron milk and Cardamom powder and mix well.
5. Turn off the stove.
6. Enjoy delicious almond halwa.
